🔍 About the Project:
The Upper Trishuli‑1 Hydroelectric Project is a major infrastructure development in Nepal’s renewable energy sector aimed at strengthening national power generation capacity. Power Construction Corporation of China Ltd., a leading EPC contractor, invites applications from qualified and experienced professionals for the Design Engineer role to support engineering design, site supervision, and coordination at the project site.
📌 Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to finalize structural designs aligned with project requirements.
- Prepare detailed design drawings and technical documentation for hydropower components.
- Manage and monitor design schedules, ensuring alignment with construction timelines.
- Identify and resolve design interface issues through effective coordination and problem-solving.
- Perform quantity take-offs for reinforcement and concrete for civil structures.
- Ensure timely design approvals and secure necessary clearances from consultants.
- Supervise site activities including tunnel excavation, shotcrete application, and rock bolt installation.
- Provide technical support during concrete casting and assist in laboratory testing for quality control.
- Maintain accurate documentation of design updates and ensure proper communication with site teams.
🎓 Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred)
- Minimum 2–4 years of relevant experience in hydropower, tunneling, or infrastructure projects
- Experience in design coordination and site execution will be an added advantage

- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit
