A leading Nutraceutical Company is seeking a dynamic, experienced, and result-oriented professional for the position of Assistant Manager – Warehouse to manage warehouse operations, inventory control, material handling, dispatch coordination, and warehouse compliance systems while ensuring operational efficiency and smooth material flow.

The ideal candidate should possess strong experience in warehouse management, inventory systems, ERP operations, and coordination with production, procurement, logistics, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory management, and dispatch activities.
  • Ensure accurate inventory management and maintain proper stock records.
  • Monitor inward and outward movement of materials as per company SOPs and operational procedures.
  • Coordinate with Production, Procurement, and Logistics departments for smooth material flow and optimum inventory levels.
  • Ensure proper storage conditions and handling of raw materials, packing materials, and finished goods to avoid damage or losses.
  • Conduct regular stock verification, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation activities.
  • Monitor and implement FIFO/FEFO inventory practices for proper stock utilization.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, safety standards, warehouse SOPs, and housekeeping practices.
  • Prepare warehouse reports related to stock status, discrepancies, inventory movement, and operational updates.
  • Supervise warehouse staff and allocate duties for effective warehouse operations.
  • Maintain proper documentation of GRN, delivery challans, stock transfers, inventory records, and ERP transactions.
  • Coordinate with transporters and vendors for timely delivery and dispatch of materials.
  • Identify and implement process improvements for warehouse efficiency, inventory accuracy, and cost optimization.
  • Ensure proper maintenance and utilization of warehouse equipment and storage systems.
  • Handle material discrepancies, shortages, damages, and corrective actions through proper inventory control procedures.
  • Train warehouse employees on SOPs, safety standards, inventory management systems, and warehouse best practices.
  • Perform any additional duties assigned by management as required.

Requirements & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in warehouse operations and inventory management.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse systems, inventory control procedures, stock reconciliation, FIFO/FEFO practices, and ERP systems.
  • Experience in Pharmaceutical, Manufacturing, FMCG, Cement, or Industrial sectors will be preferred.
  • Sound understanding of warehouse safety practices, GMP compliance, and material handling systems.
  • Strong leadership, coordination, reporting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage teams, maintain operational discipline, and work under pressure.
