Accountant Job Overview

A leading and rapidly growing FMCG company is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join its finance team in Biratnagar, Morang. This opportunity is ideal for candidates looking to build a strong career in accounting, financial reporting, and management information systems (MIS).

The ideal candidate will support day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate financial record keeping, and contribute to management reporting and business decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting Operations

• Maintain accurate accounting records and financial documentation.
• Record and verify daily financial transactions.
• Assist in invoice processing, payment entries, and reconciliations.
• Maintain books of accounts in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

MIS Reporting

• Prepare and maintain Management Information System (MIS) reports for designated business areas.
• Generate periodic financial and operational reports for management review.
• Support data analysis to facilitate informed business decisions.

Financial Support

• Assist in month-end and year-end account closing activities.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
• Coordinate with internal departments regarding finance-related matters.

Compliance & Documentation

• Maintain organized financial records and supporting documents.
• Assist in tax, statutory compliance, and audit-related activities.
• Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of financial information.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Prior experience in accounting or finance will be an added advantage.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
