Everest Parenterals Pvt. Ltd. is Nepal’s first state-of-the-art sterile injectable manufacturing facility. The plant is ideally situated in Chhatapipra, Bara, Nepal, which adjoins India through its border in Bihar. It is Nepal’s first plant that facilitates large-volume Parenterals, Small-Volume Parenterals, Eye/Ear Drops, and nasal Spray under one roof. It was incepted in 2015 with a vision to provide high-quality injectables to the country at low costs, making the country self-sufficient in injectable products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage procurement activities for raw materials, packaging, and other pharmaceutical-related products.
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure the best quality, price, and timely delivery.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers.
  • Monitor inventory levels and place orders to avoid shortages or excess stock.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for procurement in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Conduct market research and stay up-to-date with industry trends and innovations.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., production, quality assurance) to align procurement activities with organizational needs.
  • Prepare and manage procurement budgets, reports, and forecasts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain management principles and pharmaceutical procurement regulations.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
