A leading organization in the commercial automobile and electric vehicle (EV) sector is seeking applications from experienced, result‑oriented, and strategic service professionals for the position of Service Head (AGM / DGM Level). This senior leadership role offers an opportunity to lead and scale after‑sales service operations in a fast‑growing and technology‑driven mobility environment.


🧩 Position Overview

The Service Head – AGM / DGM Level will be responsible for end‑to‑end after‑sales service strategy and execution, encompassing service operations, dealer/service network development, warranty management, customer experience, and technical capability building. The role requires a strong combination of strategic leadership and hands‑on operational control, particularly in commercial vehicle or EV ecosystems.


🔧 Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the overall service and after‑sales strategy aligned with business objectives
  • Lead and manage nationwide service operations, including workshops, service partners, and dealer service teams
  • Establish, expand, and strengthen the service dealer and service point network in line with market growth
  • Ensure high standards of service quality, uptime, and customer satisfaction
  • Oversee warranty management, service policies, and SOP implementation
  • Monitor and drive improvement in key service KPIs such as turnaround time, repeat repairs, parts availability, and customer feedback
  • Lead technical training and capability development initiatives for service teams and dealer staff
  • Coordinate closely with sales, product, supply chain, and technical teams to resolve complex field issues
  • Drive continuous improvement in service processes, cost optimization, and operational efficiency
  • Handle escalated customer complaints and ensure timely and effective resolution
  • Prepare and present regular performance reports and insights to senior management

🎓 Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Automobile / Electrical Engineering (Master’s degree preferred)
  • Minimum 10–15 years of experience in automotive or commercial vehicle after‑sales service
  • At least 3–5 years in a senior leadership role (AGM / DGM level or equivalent)
  • Strong experience in:
    • Service operations management
    • Dealer and service network development
    • Warranty governance and service cost control
  • Prior exposure to electric vehicles (EVs) or new‑technology vehicles will be a significant advantage
  • Proven leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical capability with exposure to service KPIs, MIS, and reporting systems
