We are looking for a committed, dynamic, and service-oriented professional for the position of Guidance Counselor for an educational institution based in Kathmandu, Nepal. The ideal candidate should have good counseling, documentation, communication, and student-handling skills, with practical knowledge of career guidance, abroad study counseling, SOP writing, and visa processing.

Position Details

Position: Guidance Counselor

Qualification: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree

Key Responsibilities

• Counsel students regarding academic, career, and abroad study opportunities.
• Guide students in selecting suitable courses, institutions, and career pathways.
• Assist students with documentation, application preparation, SOP writing, and visa processing.
• Provide accurate information about admission requirements and application procedures.
• Maintain student records and ensure timely follow-up with students and parents.
• Coordinate with internal teams for smooth documentation and application processing.
• Support students professionally throughout the counseling and application journey.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong counseling and student guidance skills.
• Good knowledge of SOP writing and visa processing.
• Understanding of abroad study counseling and career counseling.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong documentation and follow-up skills.
• Basic computer and office documentation skills.
• TITI certification will be preferred.

Qualification & Experience

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in any relevant discipline.
• At least 1 year of related experience in counseling, documentation, education consultancy, or student services.
• Prior experience in abroad study counseling will be an added advantage.
