Position Overview

The Sales Manager will lead sales and business development for Flock Inn Hospitality, with a strong focus on adventure travel, room sales, and hospitality packages. The role is responsible for handling client inquiries, designing and selling trekking and tour packages, and coordinating with operations to ensure seamless guest experiences while achieving sales targets.​​


Key Responsibilities
Client Consultation & Sales
  • Respond to client inquiries via email, phone, WhatsApp, social media, and walk-ins at the hostel/office.​
  • Assess client needs and recommend suitable trekking, tour, and adventure packages.​
  • Prepare and send customized itineraries, quotations, and package options.​
  • Convert inquiries into confirmed bookings through effective sales communication and follow-ups.​
  • Build and maintain strong relationships to encourage repeat and referral business.​
Trip Planning & Itinerary Design
  • Design both standard and tailor-made itineraries for treks, tours, expeditions, and adventure experiences.​
  • Provide expert advice on routes, difficulty levels, seasons, gear, safety, and travel requirements.​
  • Coordinate with the operations team for guides, permits, accommodations, transport, and logistics.​
Pre-Trip & Post-Trip Support
  • Share pre-departure information, including packing lists, insurance requirements, and safety guidelines.​
  • Handle client queries and updates before arrival and during trip preparation.​
  • Collect and document post-trip feedback and support service improvement actions.​
Booking Management & Documentation
  • Maintain accurate booking records, client profiles, confirmations, and trip notes.​
  • Coordinate permits, hotel bookings, transportation, and vendor arrangements.​
  • Ensure all documentation and records are complete, organized, and up to date.​
Market Research & Product Development
  • Monitor adventure travel trends, new trekking routes, and competitor offerings.​​
  • Propose improvements to existing itineraries and develop new products aligned with Flock’s brand.​​
  • Stay updated on tourism developments, pricing, and seasonal conditions in Nepal.​​
Coordination & Reporting
  • Collaborate closely with operations, front office, finance, and marketing teams to align sales with service delivery.​​
  • Maintain CRM records, follow-up lists, and prepare periodic sales reports for management.​

Qualifications
  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.​
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in hospitality sales or the tours and travel sector.​
  • Candidates from other industries with a strong sales drive and results-oriented attitude are also encouraged to apply.​

Skills and Attributes
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.​
  • Fluent in English; confident, presentable, and strongly target-driven.​
  • Strong leadership and team coordination abilities.​
  • Solid knowledge of trekking and adventure tourism in Nepal.​​
  • Customer-focused mindset, high level of professionalism, and ability to work under pressure to meet sales targets.​

  • Location: Paknajol, Thamel, Kathmandu, Nepal.
  • Preference: Immediate joiners will be given priority.​
