About Company:

Everest Parenterals Pvt. Ltd. is Nepal’s first state-of-the-art sterile injectable manufacturing facility. The plant is ideally situated in Chhatapipra, Bara, Nepal, which adjoins India through its border in Bihar. It is the first plant in Nepal that facilitates the manufacturing of large-volume Parenterals, Small-Volume Parenterals, Eye/Ear Drops, and nasal Spray under one roof. It was incepted in 2015 with a vision to provide high-quality injectables to the country at low costs, making the country self-sufficient in injectable products.

Position Overview:

Everest Parenterals is seeking a strategic and dynamic Finance Controller to lead our financial operations and strategy, reporting directly to the Chief Finance Officer (CFO). This crucial role will involve overseeing the organization’s financial activities, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data, and providing strategic insights that drive financial performance and support executive decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate financial statements, reports, and analyses to the CFO and senior management in accordance with accounting principles and standards.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting, collaborating with department heads to align financial goals with operational plans.
  • Compliance & Controls: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls by implementing and maintaining effective policies and procedures to safeguard assets.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement, providing actionable insights to the CFO to support strategic initiatives.
  • Cash Flow Management: Oversee cash flow management, including forecasting cash needs and ensuring adequate liquidity for operational requirements.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development in alignment with the organization’s objectives.
  • Audit Coordination: Coordinate external audits and manage relationships with auditors, ensuring timely completion and compliance with audit requirements.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for financial inquiries from internal and external stakeholders, effectively communicating financial performance and strategies to the CFO and other key executives.
  • System Management: Oversee the implementation and maintenance of financial systems and tools, ensuring they meet the organization’s reporting and analytical needs.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background:
    • A semi-qualified CA is required; a qualified CA is preferred.
    • 2+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 1 years in a managerial or controller role, preferably in a manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment.
