With a mission to promote rural electrification, poverty alleviation, and national energy independence, Gurans Hydro is actively developing projects in Sankhuwasabha District (Sankhuwa River Hydro-41.06 MW).


Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all types of vehicles (light, heavy, construction, and transport) supporting hydropower operations.
  • Ensure timely maintenance, servicing, and repair of vehicles and machinery to maximize reliability.
  • Develop and enforce preventive maintenance schedules to reduce downtime.
  • Supervise workshop operations and ensure availability of spare parts, fuel, and lubricants.
  • Guarantee compliance with safety standards, transport regulations, and environmental policies.
  • Lead and train mechanics, drivers, and technical staff for high performance.
  • Monitor vehicle utilization, maintenance costs, and operational efficiency through periodic reporting.
  • Coordinate with project managers to align vehicle support with construction and operational timelines.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Diploma Degree in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in vehicle fleet management, preferably in hydropower, construction, or industrial projects.
  • Strong knowledge of heavy vehicles, construction machinery, and hydraulic systems.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Familiarity with Nepal’s transport regulations and safety compliance.

Desired Competencies
  • Expertise in preventive and corrective maintenance planning.
  • Hands-on technical proficiency with modern diagnostic tools.
  • Ability to manage resources efficiently under challenging conditions.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
