Position Summary

The Area Sales Manager (ASM) is responsible for achieving regional sales targets and driving sustainable growth of hygiene and baby care products in the assigned territory. The role focuses on distributor and retail management, new customer acquisition, and effective execution of the company’s sales and marketing strategy at the field level.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure regional sales targets (volume and value) are met in line with the company’s marketing strategy.
• Develop new customers and drive sales growth from existing customers while maintaining strong customer relationships in the region.
• Follow up on customer payments, monitor outstanding dues, and control overdue accounts.
• Collect and report market information, including competitor activities, pricing, promotions, and consumer trends.
• Support product concept planning and product development feasibility studies based on market feedback.
• Manage and support distributors, sub-distributors, and field sales teams to ensure effective market coverage and product availability.
• Plan and execute merchandising, visibility, and promotional activities to strengthen brand presence at retail level.
• Prepare and submit regular sales, market visits, and performance reports as per company requirements.​

Key Requirements

Experience

• Experience in hygiene products in Nepal, with good knowledge of channels and regional customer resources.
• Work experience with any of the following brands/companies is highly preferred: Zuvara, Aiwibi, Babymoon, Cocoonbuds, Mumbuds, 7-Star, Nappy, Sagun, Niine, or other diaper brands.
• Proven experience as Area Sales Manager / Sales Manager / similar FMCG field role handling regional markets.

Education & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
• Strong skills in negotiation, communication, and relationship management.​
• Good analytical ability for sales tracking, route planning, and market reporting.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reports and presentations.​
• Ability and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.​

• Age: 30–45 years.

• Position Level: Area Sales Manager (ASM) / Sales Manager (as per profile fit).
• Work Location: Butwal / Pokhara (and surrounding market territories as assigned).
• Salary Range: Negotiable for candidates with strong relevant experience.
