Job Summary

The Reservation Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily reservation operations, ensuring optimal room occupancy, and maintaining strong coordination between the sales, front office, and operations teams. The position requires an experienced professional who can manage both direct and online bookings efficiently while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all hotel reservations, inquiries, and booking confirmations across all channels.
• Oversee room inventory and ensure accurate availability across OTA platforms (Booking.com, Agoda, Expedia, etc.).
• Maintain daily communication with travel partners, corporate clients, and individual guests.
• Utilize and manage channel managers, PMS, and booking software to optimize occupancy and revenue.
• Monitor booking patterns, analyze trends, and adjust rates and allocations as required.
• Coordinate with the Front Office, Sales, and Housekeeping teams to ensure room readiness and service quality.
• Handle guest complaints, special requests, and last-minute changes professionally.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reservation reports for management review.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Tourism, or a related field.
• Proven experience in reservation handling and customer service within the hospitality sector.
• Strong knowledge of reservation systems, OTA management, and room inventory control.
• Hands-on experience with channel managers, booking engines, and property management systems (PMS).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Nepali.
• Strong coordination, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
• Customer-oriented mindset with an eye for accuracy and detail.
