🏗 About the Project:

Power Construction Corporation of China Ltd. / SINOHYDRO – KSNS JV, a major contractor in Nepal’s hydropower and tunneling sector, is seeking a highly skilled Equipment Maintenance Technician to ensure the smooth operation of advanced tunneling equipment, including multi-arm drilling rigs and Alila wet spraying machines, across key hydropower project sites in Nepal.

🔍 Job Summary:

The selected candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical and hydraulic systems in heavy tunneling machinery to support continuous and safe underground construction activities.

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and hydraulic systems of drilling rigs and wet spraying (shotcrete) machines (Alila or similar brands).
• Conduct preventive maintenance, equipment calibration, and timely component replacement.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, hydraulic schematics, wiring diagrams, and PLC systems.
• Collaborate with on-site operators and engineers for equipment optimization.
• Maintain accurate service logs, issue reports, and repair documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and site maintenance protocols.
• Assist in training local operators on equipment handling and basic diagnostics.

🎓 Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma or Certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of experience maintaining hydraulic and electrical systems of heavy construction equipment
• Hands-on experience with multi-arm drilling rigs and Alila wet spraying machines preferred
• Ability to work independently in remote project locations under pressure
• Basic communication skills in English and fluency in Nepali
