🧾 Job Summary

Nepal Meghasoft Trading Pvt. Ltd. is seeking dynamic, result-oriented, and commercially astute Area Sales Managers (ASM) to drive regional sales growth and market expansion for its hygiene product portfolio. The role is responsible for executing corporate sales strategies, managing distributor and channel performance, strengthening key account relationships, and ensuring sustainable revenue growth across assigned regions.

The ideal candidate will possess strong FMCG sales leadership experience, proven channel management capability, and an established market network within Nepal.


🔑 Key Responsibilities
1️⃣ Business Performance & Strategy Execution
  • Implement corporate sales strategies to achieve assigned regional KPIs, including revenue growth, market share, and profitability.
  • Translate national sales plans into effective regional execution strategies.
2️⃣ Operational & Channel Excellence
  • Manage and optimize distributor, wholesaler, modern trade, and B2B channels.
  • Oversee product portfolio performance, promotional campaigns, and brand activation initiatives.
  • Lead and motivate regional sales teams to achieve performance targets.
3️⃣ Key Account & Relationship Management
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key distributors, wholesalers, and institutional clients.
  • Conduct regular Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with strategic accounts.
  • Drive customer retention, loyalty programs, and long-term partnerships.
4️⃣ Financial & Commercial Management
  • Prepare and manage regional sales budgets and forecasts.
  • Monitor trade schemes, discounts, and promotional ROI to ensure alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Ensure efficient utilization of sales resources.
5️⃣ Risk & Credit Management
  • Monitor accounts receivable and outstanding collections.
  • Implement effective credit control measures and minimize bad debt exposure.
  • Ensure adherence to company credit policies and compliance standards.
6️⃣ Market Intelligence & Business Development
  • Conduct market research to track competitor activities, pricing trends, and consumer behavior.
  • Identify emerging market opportunities and new distribution channels.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing/R&D) for product conceptualization, feasibility analysis, and market launch strategies.

🎓 Qualifications & Competencies
Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of proven sales experience in FMCG / hygiene products.
  • Strong exposure to channel management (distributors, wholesalers, modern trade, B2B).
  • Prior experience with companies such as P&G, Aiwibi, Zuvara, Sagun, Nappy, or similar hygiene/FMCG brands will be an added advantage.

Industry Network
  • Well-established relationships with regional distributors and wholesalers within assigned markets of Nepal.

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related discipline

  • Proficiency in English and Nepali (spoken and written)
  • Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
