Position Overview

The Store Incharge is responsible for managing daily store operations, ensuring efficient inventory management, proper documentation, and smooth coordination with internal teams. This role requires maintaining secure, systematic, and accurate storage of goods while supporting the company’s supply chain efficiency and operational excellence.


Key Roles and Responsibilities

Store Management

  • Align store operations with company goals and policies.
  • Ensure systematic and secure storage of goods using proper coding, labeling, and storage conditions.
  • Conduct monthly stock counts, inventory classification, and regular reconciliation.
  • Receive and inspect incoming materials, verifying against purchase orders, and report discrepancies or damages.
  • Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization within store premises.
  • Track stock movement and replenish items based on usage trends.
  • Supervise loading, unloading, and handling of goods to minimize damage and loss.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly inventory reports for management review.
  • Train and guide store assistants in storekeeping best practices.

Coordination & Reporting

  • Coordinate with procurement and finance departments for timely purchase requests and accurate billing.
  • Support vendor relations and ensure compliance with company standards.

Skills and Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of work experience in inventory management or storekeeping.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications.

Competencies & Soft Skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Capacity to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
