🌍 About the Project:

The Tamakoshi-V Hydroelectric Project is a vital national infrastructure initiative contributing to Nepal’s long-term energy sustainability. Operated under an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) model by SINOHYDRO – KSNS JV, this 99.8 MW project is committed to meeting high standards of technical excellence, environmental responsibility, and quality compliance.

🧭 Job Summary:

The Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring overall product and process quality at the project site by developing, implementing, and monitoring robust quality management systems. The role includes conducting inspections, managing audits, analyzing quality metrics, and promoting continuous improvement aligned with national and international standards. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills, deep technical knowledge, and a hands-on leadership style.

✅ Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective Quality Management Systems (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 or relevant standards.
• Monitor and evaluate product and process quality, including inspections, audits, and documentation review.
• Lead quality assurance programs, including validation processes, internal audits, and quality planning.
• Train and guide project staff in quality protocols, promoting a culture of quality ownership.
• Investigate and resolve non-conformances and customer complaints; implement CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions).
• Compile and present quality performance reports and KPIs to management.
• Ensure supplier quality compliance and liaise with vendors for consistent quality performance.

🎓 Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Civil Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related discipline (Master’s degree or MBA is a plus).
• Minimum 4–6 years of proven experience in quality assurance and management in construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with QMS standards, such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485, or equivalent.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing teams and driving quality improvement initiatives.

Technical Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of Quality Management Systems and industry standards (e.g., ISO, IATF).
• Skilled in root cause analysis (RCA), Fishbone Diagrams, and 5 Whys techniques.
• Experienced in managing internal and external audits, including audit response and follow-up.

Soft Skills:

• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Excellent analytical and documentation skills.
• Clear and effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
