🔍 About the Project:

The Upper Trishuli‑1 Hydroelectric Project (UT1-216MW) is a flagship infrastructure development in Nepal’s renewable energy sector, designed to significantly enhance the nation’s power generation capacity. Located in the Trishuli River basin, the project plays a vital role in meeting the growing energy demands of the country.

Power Construction Corporation of China Ltd. (PCCC), a globally renowned EPC contractor, is executing the project and invites applications from qualified and experienced professionals for the position of Quality Control (QC) Engineer to ensure effective quality assurance and interdepartmental coordination at the project site.

👨‍🔧 Key Responsibilities:

• On-Site Quality Monitoring:
  Supervise and enforce quality control procedures on the construction site, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, project standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Non-Conformance Management:
  Identify and manage non-conforming materials or work; lead root cause analysis and develop corrective/preventive action plans in coordination with relevant departments.
• Quality Documentation:
  Prepare, maintain, and update inspection records, quality control plans, checklists, test reports, and procedural documentation.
• Team Leadership:
  Provide technical supervision and leadership to quality control personnel; ensure adherence to inspection protocols and safety standards.
• Office-Based Coordination:
  Assist in reviewing and managing quality documents from the head office; coordinate with project managers, design engineers, and subcontractors.
• Communication & Reporting:
  Prepare and submit detailed quality reports; communicate quality concerns and status updates to senior management and stakeholders in a timely manner.

✅ Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or related Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 4 to 7 years of relevant experience in Quality Control, particularly in hydropower or large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of ISO standards, quality control procedures, inspection techniques, and material specifications.
• Proficient in preparing and reviewing technical documentation and reports.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Nepali.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
