🔍 About the Project:

The Upper Trishuli‑1 Hydroelectric Project (UT1 – 216MW) is a nationally significant development in Nepal’s energy sector aimed at increasing clean and sustainable power production. Situated in Mailung, Rasuwa, the project is being executed by Power Construction Corporation of China Ltd. (PCCC), a globally recognized EPC contractor.

To strengthen project execution and planning coordination, PCCC invites applications from competent and experienced professionals for the post of Planning Engineer.


🛠️ Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, monitor, and update the project schedule using Primavera P6 or equivalent planning tools.
  • Assist in preparing project progress reports, dashboards, and forecasting for management and stakeholders.
  • Perform EOT (Extension of Time) analysis and reporting based on project delays or changes in scope.
  • Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors to collect data and validate project timelines.
  • Review and analyze contractor/subcontractor schedules and highlight deviations or risks.
  • Maintain and regularly update planning-related documentation and records.
  • Support planning functions both at project site and from the head office as needed.

Required Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil, or Hydropower Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience as a Planning Engineer, preferably in hydropower or infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 planning software is mandatory.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and documentation skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in EOT analysis and preparation of delay reports.
  • Proficient in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
