Position Overview

The Finance Manager will play a critical role in driving financial performance, business analytics, internal controls, MIS reporting, internal audit, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting functions. The role requires close collaboration with Finance, Operations, Procurement, Inventory, Sales, and Senior Management teams to support data-driven decision-making and sustainable business growth.

The ideal candidate should possess strong financial acumen, analytical capabilities, and leadership potential to strengthen the finance function and support organizational objectives.


Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Analyze business performance, profitability, operating expenses, inventory movement, and cash flow trends.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning activities.
  • Develop financial models, forecasts, and performance dashboards.
  • Provide actionable recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
MIS & Management Reporting
  • Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and periodic MIS reports.
  • Develop meaningful management reports and business performance dashboards.
  • Present financial insights and analytical reports to senior management.
Internal Audit & Risk Management
  • Conduct internal audits across finance, accounts, procurement, inventory, sales, stores, and operational functions.
  • Identify operational gaps, financial risks, control weaknesses, and process inefficiencies.
  • Recommend and monitor corrective actions to strengthen internal controls and governance.
Costing & Inventory Management
  • Monitor inventory costing, stock reconciliation, and inventory controls.
  • Review cost structures and profitability across products and business units.
  • Support cost optimization and operational improvement initiatives.
Compliance & Financial Governance
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, tax regulations, statutory requirements, and audit standards.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, banks, insurance companies, and regulatory authorities.
  • Support the preparation of financial statements, board reports, and management presentations.
Strategic Business Support
  • Work closely with senior leadership on business planning and strategic initiatives.
  • Support data-driven decision-making through financial and operational analysis.
  • Contribute to strengthening finance, audit, and reporting functions across the organization.
  • Develop capabilities to lead broader finance functions as part of future leadership succession planning.

Required Qualifications
  • CA, ACCA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification preferred.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in Finance, Financial Analysis, MIS Reporting, Internal Audit, or Accounts.
  • Prior experience in Trading and Manufacturing industries will be highly preferred.
