Position Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Chief Operating & Finance Officer (COFO) with a Chartered Accountancy (CA) background to oversee, streamline, and strengthen the company’s end-to-end operations. This role is pivotal in aligning business strategy with operational execution, ensuring financial prudence, compliance, productivity, and continuous improvement across all departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily plant operations including production, inventory, procurement, logistics, and quality control.
• Oversee budgeting, cost control, forecasting, and financial reporting in coordination with the finance team.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to meet production targets, reduce costs, and improve process efficiencies.
• Analyze operational performance metrics and generate regular reports for the management and board.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, labor laws, tax policies, and internal audit protocols.
• Collaborate with the Managing Director and departmental heads for cross-functional coordination and strategic planning.
• Drive digital transformation, automation, and ERP-based reporting systems.
• Manage vendor and contractor relationships to optimize supply chain performance.
• Lead risk assessments and ensure business continuity planning.
• Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, safety, and environmental sustainability across the organization.

Qualifications and Experience

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) from a recognized institute (ICAN/ICAI).
• Minimum 7–10 years of progressive experience, preferably in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial operations.
• Proven leadership in plant operations, cost optimization, and strategic planning.
• Strong knowledge of financial systems, taxation, and audit.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, MS Office, and operational dashboards.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams and high-pressure environments.

Preferred Qualities

• Prior experience in steel, wire, or infrastructure manufacturing sectors.
• Working knowledge of compliance and regulatory frameworks in Nepal.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative leadership approach.
• Ability to relocate or work full-time from Hetauda.
