About the Project:

The Upper Trishuli-1 Hydroelectric Project is a flagship renewable energy initiative in Nepal, aimed at bolstering the national power supply. As a key EPC contractor, Power Construction Corporation of China Ltd. seeks a competent and experienced EHS professional to support effective implementation of environmental, health, and safety standards at the project site.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Experience: 5–7 years in EHS roles, preferably within infrastructure or energy projects in Nepal or overseas.
  • Education: High school or bachelor’s degree.
  • Certification: NEBOSH-IGC and/or IOSH certification (mandatory).
  • Salary: Company Standard, based on experience and qualifications.
  • Working Shift: As per company rules
  • Accommodation: Shared on-site accommodation provided by the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly site inspections and prepare EHS compliance reports.
  • Deliver daily toolbox talks (TBTs) and monthly EHS training sessions.
  • Prepare and submit EHS reports on a regular basis.
  • Coordinate with clients on EHS issues and ensure timely submission of required documentation.
  • Participate in internal and external audits, and prepare relevant reports.
  • Address social and environmental concerns in coordination with stakeholders.
  • Take part in monthly emergency mock drills and prepare follow-up reports.
