Sinohydro-KSNS JV is seeking qualified professionals to join our team for the Tamakoshi V Hydroelectric Project (99.8 MW). We invite applications for the following positions:
CONTRACT MANAGER:1
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the entire contract lifecycle for the hydroelectric project
Lead contract negotiations with contractors, suppliers, and consultants
Develop and implement contract management strategies
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
Manage risk assessment and mitigation strategies
Resolve contractual disputes and claims
Monitor contract performance against established milestones
Coordinate with technical teams to verify contract specifications
Prepare and present contract performance reports
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or above in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Law, or related field
Minimum 7 years of experience in contract management for infrastructure projects
In-depth knowledge of FIDIC contracts and international contracting standards
Strong understanding of hydropower project components and construction processes
Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills
Proficiency in contract management software systems
CONTRACT OFFICER: 1
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare contract documentation and support the bidding process
Maintain organized contract files and documentation
Monitor contractor compliance with terms and conditions
Process contract amendments and change orders
Track payment schedules and support invoice verification
Assist with progress reporting and documentation
Coordinate between technical teams and contractors
Support the Contract Manager in day-to-day activities
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Administration, Law, or related field
Minimum 3 years of experience in contract administration
Knowledge of procurement procedures and contract law
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency in document management systems
Understanding of technical terminology related to hydropower projects
DESIGN ENGINEER: 1
Key Responsibilities:
Develop detailed engineering designs for hydroelectric project components
Prepare technical specifications and drawings
Conduct engineering calculations and analyses
Review and approve contractor submittals and shop drawings
Coordinate with other engineering disciplines
Ensure designs comply with applicable codes and standards
Participate in value engineering and design optimization
Provide technical support during construction
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or above in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (based on specialization)
Minimum 5 years of experience in hydropower project design
Strong technical knowledge in relevant engineering discipline
Experience with engineering design software
Commanding knowledge of P6 software
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
PLANNING ENGINEER: 1
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6
Monitor project progress against baseline schedules
Identify schedule risks and develop mitigation strategies
Prepare and analyze progress reports
Coordinate with various departments to update schedules
Forecast project completion dates and critical path analysis
Support resource planning and optimization
Assist in claims analysis related to time extensions
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in planning for infrastructure projects
Commanding knowledge of Primavera P6 software
Experience in hydropower or similar large infrastructure projects
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent reporting and communication abilities
