Upper Trishuli-1 HEP, a reputed hydropower company based in Mailung, Rasuwa, is seeking a qualified and experienced Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) Manager to join our team. We are committed to contributing to Nepal’s energy sector through sustainable hydropower development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all Safety, Health, and Environmental aspects of Hydropower Construction
• Develop and implement SHE policies, procedures, and training programs
• Conduct risk assessments and safety audits
• Ensure compliance with relevant local and international standards
• Investigate incidents and implement preventive measures
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and stakeholders on SHE matters
• Provide regular reporting on SHE performance metrics

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in a relevant field
• Professional certification such as NEBOSH
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and environmental management
• Excellent communication, leadership and reporting skills
• Proficiency in documentation and reporting

Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience in hydropower projects or similar large-scale construction environments
• Familiarity with international SHE standards and best practices
• Experience working in challenging geographical terrain
• Knowledge of local regulations and compliance requirements
