We are currently seeking a Key Account Manager (KAM) based in Kathmandu, Nepal to join our team. The KAM will be responsible for managing national accounts and driving sales performance through strategic account management, planning, and execution.

Key Responsibilities

Key Account Management:

  • Develop and execute business strategies for assigned key accounts to achieve growth and increase category share.
  • Lead annual TOT negotiations with key accounts, coordinating closely with the Area Sales Manager (ASM).
  • Ensure operational excellence by executing planograms and assortment plans.
  • Take the lead in planning and negotiating in-store activations, merchandising, and sell-out plans.
  • Manage commercial reconciliations for assigned accounts.

Relationship Management and Performance Review:

  • Build and nurture relationships with key accounts through regular, meaningful engagement.
  • Develop Joint Business Plans (JBP) with key accounts to set clear objectives and performance metrics for the fiscal year.
  • Conduct quarterly performance reviews to analyze and adjust strategies as needed.

Sales Promotion and Planning:

  • Align internal marketing activities such as promotions, activations, and product launches with key accounts.
  • Prepare accurate business forecasts in coordination with key account discussions.
  • Optimize spending to maximize return on investment (ROI).
  • Provide competitive intelligence and market insights to support decision-making.
  • Monitor industry trends and propose new product ideas based on market demand.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in key account management.
  • Strong self-motivated, go-getter personality.
  • Proven ability to drive results and exceed targets in a dynamic environment.
