Position Overview

Brij Cement is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant for its Factory Office in Bhairahawa. The role involves supporting day-to-day accounting functions, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain proper accounting records and documentation.
• Process invoices, payments, and journal entries accurately.
• Assist in bank reconciliation and ledger management.
• Support preparation of financial statements and periodic reports.
• Assist in VAT, tax filings, and statutory compliance.
• Coordinate with internal departments for financial data and clarification.
• Support internal and external audit processes.
• Ensure proper filing and safeguarding of financial documents.

Qualifications & Competencies

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Management (BBS/BBA preferred).

Experience:
2–3 years of relevant accounting experience (experience in manufacturing or factory setting preferred).

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of accounting principles and Nepalese taxation system.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work in a factory-based environment.
