Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Experimental Engineer to join our team for the Hydropower EPC Project. The Experimental Engineer will play a crucial role in the research, development, and testing of new technologies, materials, and systems. This role involves designing and conducting experiments, analyzing data, and refining engineering processes to improve product performance, efficiency, and innovation.


Key Responsibilities
  • Design and conduct experiments to test new concepts, materials, or technologies.
  • Develop prototypes, models, and testing procedures for research and development (R&D).
  • Analyze experimental data and document findings to optimize designs and processes.
  • Use statistical analysis, simulations, and computational modeling to interpret results.
  • Collaborate with scientists, engineers, and product developers to refine experiments.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and quality guidelines.
  • Identify potential improvements, cost reductions, and innovations in engineering designs.
  • Utilize advanced tools and software (e.g., MATLAB, ANSYS, SolidWorks, Python) for simulations and testing.

Qualifications & Experience

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Required) in Engineering, Physics, Material Science, or a related field.
  • Master’s Degree or Ph.D. (Preferred for research and advanced roles).
  • Additional relevant courses and training in experimental engineering or related fields.

Work Experience:

  • Experience in hydropower, infrastructure, or EPC projects.
  • Entry-level candidates with strong academic backgrounds and internship experience will also be considered.

Technical Skills:

  • Expertise in experimentation and testing.
  • Proficiency in computational modeling and simulation.
  • Strong programming and automation skills.
  • Industry-specific expertise in hydropower or related fields.

Legal & Regulatory Compliance Skills:

  • Knowledge of industry standards and certifications.
  • Understanding of safety and risk management protocols.
  • Familiarity with government and environmental regulations.

Language Skills:

  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
  • Knowledge of Nepali and/or Chinese is an advantage.

Preferred Certifications
  • Core Engineering & Experimental Techniques Certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing).
  • Computational Modeling & Simulation Certifications (e.g., ANSYS, MATLAB).
  • Quality Assurance & Testing Certifications (e.g., ISO 9001).
