About the Project
Upper Trishuli-1 Hydroelectric Project (216 MW) is a prestigious hydropower development initiative in Mailung, Rasuwa. As a key contributor to Nepal’s sustainable energy sector, we seek a motivated Account Finance Trainee to join our dynamic finance team. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or early-career professionals eager to gain hands-on experience in financial operations within a large-scale infrastructure project.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Record Management
- Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Support the preparation and processing of financial transactions and journal entries.
- Help reconcile bank statements and cash accounts.
- Organize financial documents and ensure proper filing.
Accounts Payable and Receivable
- Assist in processing vendor invoices and payments.
- Support accounts receivable management and follow-up on outstanding payments.
- Prepare payment vouchers and maintain vendor records.
- Contribute to budget tracking and expense monitoring.
Financial Reporting
- Compile financial data and assist in report preparation.
- Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Help with internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Project Financial Support
- Assist in tracking project-specific financial transactions.
- Support cost control and financial monitoring.
- Help with budget preparation and financial forecasting.
- Coordinate with project teams on financial matters.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional accounting certifications (preferred but not mandatory).
Experience
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply!
- Prior internship or experience in finance/accounting is an advantage.
Technical Skills
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, Swastik, or similar).
- Strong Excel skills and data analysis ability.
- Understanding of taxation and compliance regulations.
Soft Skills
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
